I’ve found a new favourite lunch place. So exciting! But before you ask, No I have not gone vegan.

I do enjoy a great piece of beef every once in a while, when I’m in the mood for it. Yet I find myself embracing more and more of this raw and all-natural eating style. I like not feeling heavy after I’ve eaten, and I tend to not struggle with bloating and other digestive issues either (TMI?).

So thanks to those I follow on Instagram, I learnt of a new breakfast/lunch spot directly in city centre: Rawdish.

I cannot rave on this place enough! I was happy walking in to find that not only do the staff speak English, but all of the packaging has ingredients listed in both English and Luxembourgish.

The way their shop works is that you choose your dish based on the hot or cold foundation you desire. Rice, quinoa, buckwheat and lentils seem to be the norm. I chose cold quinoa.


Then it’s time for the toppings! The day I was there, even midway through the lunch hour, I had so many flavours to choose from. After my colleague patiently awaited my indecisiveness, I went for the Cashew & Parsley. Best. Decision. Ever. A fresh and summery sauce with a hint of lime was ideal for the sunny and warm Spring day.

To top it off, we both went for the Brown Bear smoothie comme déssert. Nothing but banana, avocado, maca and cocoa powder. Perfect for an allergy-friendly diet! Made my tummy suuuuper happy.

I also went back the following day for another smoothie. I promise you, they’re irresistible! Especially when you factor in the affordability of this place. Less than 10€ for lunch, under 6€ for breakfast (okay, not including your coffee).

I was so happy and satisfied after trying out this place. It’s highly recommended from this foodie!!
